Volusia County Man Wins $1 Million from Florida Lottery Scratch-Off Game

The Florida Lottery officials announced that Jose Dominguez Rios, a resident of Volusia County, has won a $1 million prize from a Gold Rush Limited scratch-off ticket.
Rios purchased the winning ticket from a 7-Eleven convenience store located in Ocoee. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.
He claimed his prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000 at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game, which launched in September 2021, offers 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Rios is among the 100 lucky winners of the game's $1 million prize.
