A Broadmeadows woman was delighted to discover a phone call she initially thought was about bad news, was instead about her “wonderful” $1.25 million windfall in the recent TattsLotto draw. T

The Victorian player held one of the eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4377, drawn Saturday 1 July 2023 and takes home a total division one prize of $1,250,000.00.

The gleeful woman discovered her newfound fortune on Sunday morning when her husband broke the news to her over the phone.

“Oh, it’s amazing!” she exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott this morning.

“I was out and about, and I received a phone call from my husband.

“Before I could even say anything to him, he said, ‘I’m shaking! I’m shaking!’.

“I responded with, ‘What’s wrong with you? Are you sick?’.

“My mind immediately thought something was wrong. “Then he said, ‘You’ve won TattsLotto! You’ve won $1.25 million!’.

“I thought he was joking, and I didn’t believe it. I usually don’t win anything! I just kept saying, ‘Don’t be silly!’.

“I’ve been playing for a very long time. I just don’t know how we got so lucky. “It didn’t really hit home until I spoke to you.

“Thank you so much.”
