Upstate New York Smoke Shop Sells Winning Powerball Tickets

An upstate chain smoke shop in Newburgh, New York sold winning Powerball tickets to eight lucky coworkers for the Nov. 5, 2022 drawing.
Though they didn't hit the jackpot, they won a second place prize worth $1 million.
The winners from Massachusetts, Florida, Puerto Rico, Georgia, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Ozone Park each chose a single lump sum payment and after taxes received $81,375.
New York Lottery announced the lucky winners who purchased their tickets at Smokes 4 Less on 59 North Plank Rd.
Retailer will also receive some bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket.
