Two-time Lottery Winner Credits Long Locks for Lucky Streak

William Daniels Jr. of Middle River, Maryland, is convinced that his long hair is his lucky charm when it comes to winning the lottery.

Daniels, an aircraft assembly employee, recently won $50,000 on a Maryland Lottery Gold X50 scratch-off ticket, and he attributes his success to his flowing locks.

In fact, this is not the first time that Daniels has hit the jackpot. He previously won $100,000 in November 2015 on a Baltimore Ravens scratch-off.

Daniels joked with Maryland Lottery officials that he's going to keep his long hair when he plays scratch-offs, as it seems to bring him good luck.

He purchased the winning Gold X50 ticket at a 7-Eleven in Nottingham. He revealed that he occasionally buys a scratch-off ticket when he has some money in his pocket.
