$50,000 Powerball Winning Ticket Sold at a Nashville Publix

Luck smiled upon two Powerball players in Tennessee, as they both matched four of the white balls and the red Powerball in the latest drawing, earning themselves $50,000 each.

One winning ticket was sold at Publix on Lebanon Pike in Nashville, while the other was purchased at Kroger on Madison Street in Clarksville.

Further details about the winners will be revealed once they claim their prizes. It's worth noting that the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation, solely fueled by the revenue generated from its products, has contributed over $6.8 billion since 2004 to fund various education programs, including college grants, scholarships, initiatives like Drive to 55, and after-school programs.

Alongside the educational benefits, players have collectively won more than $18.8 billion in prizes, while lottery retailers have earned over $1.8 billion in commissions.
