Two Phoenix-Area Lottery Players Win $100,000 Each in Powerball Drawing

Two lottery players from the Phoenix area won $100,000 each by matching four white numbers plus the Powerball.

One was sold at the Cave Creek Safeway located at Cave Creek Road and Tatum Boulevard, while the other was sold about 4 miles north at the Circle K at Carefree Highway and 48th Street in Phoenix.

The lucky players who bought their tickets at the Cave Creek Safeway also opted to activate the Power Play feature by spending an extra dollar on their $2 tickets, which doubled their winnings to $100,000.

The winning numbers from Monday's Powerball drawing were 1, 4, 12, 36, and 49, with a red Powerball of 5.
