Two Massachusetts Stores Sell Winning $100K Mass Cash Tickets

Two lucky lottery players in Massachusetts scored big on Memorial Day after winning $100,000 prizes in separate “Mass Cash” drawings.

The winning numbers for the midday draw were 3, 8, 13, 18, and 25, while the evening draw featured 2, 8, 15, 16, and 19. One jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Bobs Market in Melrose, and the other came from Lucky 95 in Attleboro.

Here’s what makes “Mass Cash” exciting:

  • Drawings happen twice every day
  • Tickets cost just $1
  • Players pick five numbers from 1 to 35
  • Matching all five numbers wins $100,000

Massachusetts lottery players had a strong day overall, too. More than 217 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed statewide on Monday. Boston led the way with 20 winning prizes, while Springfield had four and Worcester had three.

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of prizes over $600, giving players a closer look at the state’s latest big winners.

So far this year, the biggest lottery payout in Massachusetts has been a massive $25 million prize from a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” scratch ticket. That winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Turners Falls, the largest village in Montague.
