One lucky Tupelo resident won Powerball jackpot worth $50,000 after matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball.

The winning ticket was sold at Sprint Mart No. 38 on West Main Street in Tupelo for the drawing on Monday. The store will receive a bonus of $500 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot for Saturday is an estimated $653 million, with an estimated cash value of $350.5 million. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
