Triple 777 scratch-off ticket worth $700,000 sold in North Carolina, the woman will soon be $700,000 times richer than before.
Donna Denton went to Fremont Food Mart in Fremont to buy some biscuits and that's when she decided to purchase a $10 Triple 777 scratch-off ticket.
She checked her ticket when she reached home, “We were happy anyway,” Denton said in a statement.
When she visited the lottery headquarters she decided to get her winnings as a one time lump sum and state and federal withholding taxes, she took home $497,073.
The retailer also received some bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket.
