Lotto: Luck for WA as three winners share massive money pot from tonight’s $20 million Superdraw

In an exciting turn of events, three West Australians have won a share of the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw. Eight tickets across the country matched the winning numbers for the Division One prize and are now worth $2.5 million each. One of the winning tickets was sold from Riverton Forum Lottery Kiosk, while the other two were purchased online.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney expressed his gratitude to players who participated in the Superdraw, saying that an estimated $3.3 million has been raised for the WA community through Lotterywest grants. This win takes the state's winning tally for 2023 to 24, with more than half produced from Saturday Lotto alone.

The father who recently claimed the $40 million jackpot earlier this month also bought his winning ticket from a local store, Springs News in Bennett Springs. He treated his family to fish and chips for dinner after realizing that he had the winning ticket in his pocket for a week. He expressed his disbelief and shock after learning of his win and said that his family would share the prize money, making sure that their children and grandchildren are looked after.

Overall, more than 312,000 Saturday Lotto players across WA will take home a prize between Divisions Two to Six. This Superdraw has brought joy and excitement to many people, and we look forward to seeing more winners in the future.
