A woman from The Gap has confessed she was gobsmacked and simply stood and stared at her phone after checking her entry and discovering she’d bagged more than $628,000 in last weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw..
The Brisbane woman held one of the nine division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4439 on Saturday 3 February 2024. Each division one winning entry pocketed $628,348.49.
“I’ve felt like I’ve been walking on a cloud all week!” she exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm her windfall.
“When I checked my entry and saw all those numbers, I think I almost forgot how to breathe.
“I just stood there and stared at my phone for about 10 minutes while I tried to process what had just happened.
“It is life-changing.
“The first thing I thought was, ‘Oh my goodness, I can pay off my huge student loan’.
“Then I’ll look to help out my friends and family, buy a home, and throw a massive party!
“This is incredible. Thank you so much!”
