A Taree man will pay off the mortgage and enjoy the rest of his life after hitting $577,000 in the Lotto Strike lottery.

The lucky winner held only division one winning entry in Lotto Strike draw 5070 which was drawn on 8 January 2022.

The man purchased the winning ticket from The Lott official website.

The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 5070 on Saturday 8 January 2022 were 27, 3, 29, and 17.

When asked how he plans to spend the winning prize the man wants to pay off the mortgage and enjoy the rest of his life.

His total prize was $577,381.15.
