Take 5 lottery ticket worth more than $38K sold in New York

A lucky lottery player secured a jackpot-winning Take 5 ticket valued at $38,846.50 from a deli in the Bronx, N.Y.

The ticket was purchased at Ranch Mini Market and Deli Inc. located at 2739 White Plains Rd. -- was sold as part of Friday’s Take 5 evening drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 2, 8, 13, 17, and 19.

Take 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening draw.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
