St. Augustine resident won $1 million worth Jackpot in Florida Lottery, the winner will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
Richard Braswell, who is 73 years old, bought his winning ticket at the 4255 S. U.S. 1 Publix in St. Augustine.
He played the 500X The Cash?scratch-off game for just $50 and in return he won $1 million worth jackpot.
Braswell decided to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment and took home $820,000 after taxes.
The 500X The Cash game features two top prizes of $25 million the largest ever offered on a Florida scratch-off game with one still out there.
