Southampton Resident Wins $100,000 in Lotto Max Draw

James Greenaway, a project control specialist from Southampton, is embracing the summer season after winning a remarkable $100,000 in a recent Lotto Max draw.

The winning ticket was purchased at Vanderwerf’s Your Independent Grocer in Port Elgin, Ont.

An avid lottery player, James had matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the May 9 draw.

Discovering his win through the OLG app, he and his wife were initially in shock but soon danced with joy.

Sharing the news with their skeptical family, the Greenaways eventually spread the excitement.

While James hasn't made concrete plans for his winnings, he intends to manage his finances and treat himself and his wife to new Muskoka chairs.
