South carolina man bought a $2 scratch off lottery ticket and wins big

An Upstate man spent a couple of dollars on a lottery ticket and is now shopping for a new car.
“I couldn’t believe it,” the winner told lottery officials. “I spent $2 on a scratch-off and won $30,000.”
He bought the winning South Carolina Education Lottery ticket at the KC Mart #9 on 701 S. Buncombe Rd. in Greer.
A convenience store the winner, who does not wish to be identified, says he be visiting again in his new ride.
“I like to play the Lottery,” he said. The win leaves one top prize of $30,000 in the Ca$h Flow game at odds of 1 in 560,000.
KC Mart #9 in Greer received a commission of $300 for selling the claimed ticket.
