Salem resident won $1 million jackpot by playing Oregon Powerball lottery, the winner will soon be $1 million times richer than before. 

Brooks Keebey, who is 82 years old has retired from truck driving, has finally won a huge jackpot. 

He purchased the winning lottery ticket from TNT Hollywood Tavern in Salem, matched all five numbers but not the Powerball.

The winner decoded to get his winnings as a one time lump sum and after state and federal taxes, Keebey took home approximately $680,000.

When asked about his future plans with the jackpot, he said that he’ll use some of the money to buy his wife a Cadillac and also pay property taxes.
