The winner of a $316 million Powerball prize in January in Sacramento has come forward and claimed a lump sum payment.

Orlando Zavala Lozano was one of two winners across the country who matched all the numbers for a $630 million jackpot on Jan. 5, California lottery officials said.

Lozano splits the seventh-largest jackpot in Powerball's history with the owner of another jackpot winner in Wisconsin.

Lozano, who has declined media interviews, will net $225.1 million before federal taxes by choosing a lump sum payment.

The prize also earns $67.8 million for California public schools and a $1 million bonus for the owner of the 7-Eleven at 6591 Wyndham Drive where Lozano’s ticket was sold.

“Foot traffic has increased along with sales since we sold the winning ticket,” 7-Eleven owner Harprit Dhillon said in a release.
