Rocky Mount man won $100,000 in Powerball lottery ticket, the winner will soon be $100,000 times richer than before. 

Michael Buck, who is 62-year-old bought his $3 Quick Pick ticket from the Walmart Supercenter at 1511 Benvenue Road in Rocky Mount. 

The prize was doubled to $100,000, the original amount was about $50,000 when the 2X Power Play multiplier hit.

Buck, who works as a solutions architect matched four white balls and the Powerball and also bought 2X Power Play multiplier , which ended up doubling his lottery amount.
