The Powerball jackpot is officially massive again. After no top winner stepped forward on Saturday, December 13, the prize jumped to a jaw-dropping $1.15 billion for the Monday night drawing on December 15.
Anyone lucky enough to match all five numbers plus the Powerball in the 11 p.m. ET draw gets a big decision to make. The cash option comes in at $524.7 million before taxes—still life-changing money in one shot.
Powerball has seen monster wins before. Just back in September, the game’s second-largest jackpot ever, an estimated $1.787 billion, was split between two winning tickets sold in Montana and Texas.
