Powerball winning ticket worth $2 million sold in Centre City

According to a release by Pennsylvania lottery on Thursday, a Powerball winning ticket worth $2 million was sold at Wawa in Centre City.

The Big ticket was sold at the Wawa located at 1707 arch St. in the Logan Squars section of the city.

Powerball winning numbers for Wednesday night were - 20, 40, 47, 55, 63. The Red Powerball number was 04 with the powerplay of 3x. 

The lucky ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missing the Powerball number to win $2 million prize on Wednesday night. 

According to the lottery officials, the ticket would actually worth $1 million without the powerplay option of $1. The powerplay was drawn 3 which multiplied the prize to $2 million. 

There was no jackpot winner for Wednesday night draw. Hence the jackpot prize for the next draw is estimated $523 million with $397 Million cash prize option.
