Powerball lottery ticket worth $3.9 million sold in Fontana

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $3.9 million was sold in Fontana for Monday night’s drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold at a Fontana gas station-convenience store. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $40,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers on Monday were 1, 4, 12, 36, 49, with the Powerball of 5. And the winning ticket matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

The ticket sold in Fontana was one of 123,142 winning tickets sold across the country.
