Port Perry resident won a lottery worth more than $70,000, the winner of the lottery will soon be $77,777 times richer than before.
The lottery ticket was purchased by his wife at Sunny’s Gas & Variety on Scugog Street in Port Perry.
The winner says that he has been a regular lottery plater for over 20 years and finally he was rewarded with the prize.
“I was in the sunroom with my wife playing our tickets. I announced we had a winner, but I hadn’t revealed the prize amount yet,” he said.
He plans to pay off some bills and take a trip somewhere warm to celebrate with his wife.
