Pontiac resident won a lottery of $1 million on scratch off ticket, the winner from the Pontiac county will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
The lottery winner bought his winning ticket at Corner Liquor Shoppe, located at 334 West Kennett Road in Pontiac.
The 25-year-old player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim his prize and opted for the option of getting the lottery prize in a one time lump sum and took home $693,000 after all the required taxes. He plans on buying a house.
“I play instant games all the time,” said the player. “I scratched my Triple Million ticket and thought I’d won $1,000. I took the ticket back to the store I’d bought it at and had them check it.
