Piscataway quickchek sold out a $50,000 winning lottery ticket

A lottery ticket sold at the Piscataway QuickChek won $50,000 in the Wednesday, March 8 Jersey Cash 5 drawing.
The winning Green Ball ticket was sold at the Quick Chek at 605 River Rd., Piscataway. The Green Ball numbers were: 02, 05, 06, 11 and 21. The XTRA number was 02.
Because the Green Ball was drawn, all players with tickets for last night’s drawing were given a free second chance as the Jersey Cash 5 machine was reset and numbers were drawn again for the Green Ball drawing.
The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity, lottery officials said.
