The Pennsylvania Lottery has announced that a player in Luzerne County has recently won big on a Powerball ticket, valued at approximately $100,000.
The winning lottery ticket was sold at Convenient Food Mart, located at 101 Main St. in Luzerne.
Additionally, the ticket's Power Play multiplier doubled the winnings from $50,000 to $100,000, making the win even more exciting for the lucky player.
The retailer also earned a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize, so they have plenty of time to come forward and collect their winnings.
