The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a $3 million-winning ticket was sold at the Sheetz on Mosside Drive in Monroeville.
The winning ticket was a $3 Million Snow Bank Scratch-Off, a $30 game that offers top prizes of $3 million. Sheetz, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, will receive a $10,000 bonus.
It's worth noting that scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game's end-sale date posted.
The Pennsylvania Lottery distributes scratch-offs at random, so neither the lottery nor its retailers know where winning tickets will be sold.
