Penetanguishene man won $1.4 million jackpot in Lotto Max by playing his family birthdays, the winner will soon be $1.4 million times richer than before.

Christopher Grenier continuously played the lottery for the past few years with his family birthdays as lottery numbers and he finally got the lottery.

The 41 years old winner purchased his winning lottery ticket at Garrett’s Convenience on Talbot Street in Port McNicoll.

“I checked my ticket at the ticket checker, and I thought it was a joke,” he said. “I called my work and told them I wasn’t coming in and then went home and told my wife.”

He has decided to purchase a house and take the family out for dinner with the lottery prize.
