Douglas Tyler, a 65-year-old resident of Oxford, has won a $119,186 jackpot from a Lucky Clover ticket purchased at The Lucky Den in Creedmoor.
Tyler's excitement was palpable as he expressed how he and his wife had never won anything like this before.
When his wife first checked the ticket, she overlooked the winning number.
However, the next day, she realized their big win and Tyler arrived at the NC Education Lottery office to collect his prize.
After taxes, Tyler took home $84,921 and plans to use the money for home repairs and savings.
