Ontario siblings win $5 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot

Three siblings from Ontario, Arulvathani Uthayakumar, Yogarajah Ponnuthurai, and Thavarajah Ponnuthurai, have become instant millionaires after winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot of $5 million.

The trio had been playing the lottery together for around a year before their luck struck.

The winning ticket was purchased at a MI Fuel on Highway 27 in Woodbridge

Thavarajah, who was the first to discover their good fortune, said that he was overjoyed and excited when he checked their tickets and saw the winning numbers.

He immediately called his sister Arulvathani, who couldn't believe the news and was in shock for the next couple of days.

Yogarajah, the other sibling, knew that Thavarajah was serious about the win when he heard the news.

Arulvathani plans to buy a new car with the money and share it with her kids, as well as help her son with his education.

Yogarajah also intends to assist his family and purchase a house in the future.

Meanwhile, Thavarjah plans to buy his son a new car. The siblings are grateful for their unexpected luck and cannot believe their good fortune.
