A lucky man from Ontario won Lotto Max jackpot worth $100,000 after matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in the October 14, 2022 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased online from the OLG App and the winner has been playing the lottery regularly for two years.

He plans to pay some bills, invest and treat himself to an adventure to Europe.

Lotto Max is a Canadian lottery game coordinated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, as one of the country's three national lottery games.

Lotto Max drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday.

Seven numbers are selected from a field of 50 numbers, along with a bonus number. A single line of seven numbers costs $5, and each purchased line also includes two additional lines of quick picks. If a ticket matches all seven numbers on the main draw, the jackpot prize of at least CA$10 million is won.
