Check your lottery tickets! One lucky Ohio player could be sitting on a prize worth $1 million a year for life after hitting the top prize in the Millionaire For Life drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Libby Sunoco, 5270 Warrensville Center Road in Maple Heights, for the Tuesday, September 8, drawing.
The ticket matched all five winning numbers plus the Millionaire Ball:
Winning numbers: 14, 19, 36, 41, 42
Millionaire Ball: 2
Winner Has Two Payment Choices
The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize and can choose between:
- Annuity: $1 million per year for life, with at least 20 years of guaranteed payments
- Cash: A one-time $18 million payment
If the winner dies before receiving 20 years of payments, the remaining guaranteed payments will go to their estate or beneficiary.
Only the Second Ohio Jackpot Winner
This marks the second Millionaire For Life jackpot-winning ticket sold in Ohio since the game launched in February. The first was purchased at a Giant Eagle in Cleveland for the April 27 drawing.
Millionaire For Life costs $5 per play, with drawings held every night at 11:15 p.m.
