A couple from Norfolk won huge EuroMillions jackpot worth £1 million and are finally planning their wedding following a 15-year engagement.

The couple named Ellie Land and Karl Ward have been together for 20 years and started playing lottery games together for a while now.

The winning ticket was sold at the Asda store in Drayton High Road, Norwich. The store will receive a bonus of £10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

They now plans of getting married purely for the funds and to spend it on children and life. Alongside their wedding, they are also looking for a new house locally, ideally a bungalow, that they can call their own, after two decades of renting.

EuroMillions is a transnational lottery that requires seven correct numbers to win the jackpot. Draws are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 20:45 CET in Paris.
