Missouri Woman Scores $100K Scratch-Off Win in O’Fallon

Talk about perfect timing! A Missouri woman hit the jackpot after picking up her favorite 50X Scratchers ticket in O’Fallon — and walked away with a $100,000 top prize.

She said she knew exactly which ticket she wanted when she walked into the store. “I just liked the way it scratched when I first played it,” she told lottery officials with a laugh. This time, that familiar ticket brought her something much bigger than the small wins she’d scored before.

“I couldn’t believe what I saw,” she said, describing the moment she realized she’d won big. “It came at the perfect time.”

As of Nov. 3, there’s still over $6.5 million in unclaimed prizes, including four more $100,000 jackpots and several $20,000 prizes waiting to be claimed.

O’Fallon, where the lucky win happened, sits about 35 miles northwest of St. Louis — and now it’s home to one very happy scratch-off fan.
