Missouri woman is in shocj to discover big lottery win

Years after her husband died, a Missouri woman said she bought a lottery ticket with special numbers that honored him.

“The numbers are all related to him,” she told Missouri Lottery officials.

Then, during the evening Show Me Cash drawing Aug. 16, the woman matched all five numbers drawn, according to a Sept. 8 news release.

This meant she won the jackpot prize worth $199,000.

“I think I’m still in shock,” she said while claiming her winnings.

“It was like a gift from heaven.”

Her winning ticket was sold at a Kum & Go convenience store in Springfield, officials said. Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm.
