Mississippi Player Hits $3 Million Mega Millions Jackpot in Corinth

Someone who bought a jackpot ticket from BlueSky gas station in Corinth, Mississippi, has secured the second-largest lottery prize in the state's history. 

Sold for Friday's Mega Millions drawing, the ticket matched enough numbers to win $1 million. 

The winner has not yet came forward to claim the lottery prize, more information will be released once the prize is claimed. 

Also the retailer who sold the winning ticket stands to receive a $5,000 bonus.

This remarkable win marks the second-largest prize ever awarded by the Mississippi Lottery, following a $4 million win from a Mega Millions ticket in January last year.
