Someone lucky in Franklin won a life-changing $1 million lottery prize

A Tennessee Lottery player in Franklin won $1 million from the June 19 drawing by matching five white ball numbers.

The lucky ticket, sold at Tim’s Market & Deli at 1535 Columbia Ave. in Franklin, is the 375th Tennessee Lottery ticket sold worth $1 million or more.

The current estimated Powerball jackpot is $427 million for the next drawing on Saturday.

The winning lottery ticket still remains unclaimed as the ticket was unregistered so the lottery officials urge all the lottery ticket holders to check their tickets and sign on the back of them.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
