Michigan woman wins $3 million from lottery ticket bought on vacation: 'I was in shock!'

Reagan Blanton, a 52-year-old Canton resident from Michigan, recently experienced an unexpected windfall, winning a staggering $3 million on a Mega Millions lottery ticket.

While on vacation, Blanton seized the opportunity to purchase a ticket with the numbers 12-24-46-57-66 in the fall.

"I was on vacation and saw the Mega Millions jackpot was getting up there, so I made a mental note to purchase a ticket online when I got home," shared Blanton. Unfortunately, she missed the October 6 drawing but decided to check the winning numbers on the lottery's website.

"A few days after the drawing, I remembered I hadn’t checked my ticket, so I logged into my lottery account to see if I won anything," recounted Blanton. To her disbelief, she not only won $1 million from her chosen numbers but also benefited from the Megaplier option, tripling her prize to an incredible $3 million.

"When I saw a $3 million prize pending, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing!" exclaimed Blanton. She promptly shared the news with her husband, and both had to verify the reality of their newfound fortune by contacting the lottery.
