Michigan Lottery players kicked off 2024 with some remarkable wins.

The highlight of January was a staggering $842.4 million jackpot, claimed by a lucky ticket holder in Grand Blanc. The winning numbers 12, 21, 42, 44, 49 matched perfectly, securing the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot in the game's history and the 10th-largest in U.S. lottery history.

Lucky winner did not share what they will be doing with the big jackpot prize. The store also received a huge bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket. 

Alongside this monumental win, players also celebrated several other notable prizes, including sums of $4.37 million, $4 million, and $2 million.

In total, there were 20 prizes worth $100,000 or more sold or claimed throughout the month.
