Two Melton residents win £60,000 in Postcode Lottery

Two residents from Melton have won a total of £60,000 after their postcode was drawn in the People's Postcode Lottery.

The winners, who have opted to remain anonymous, each received £30,000 after their postcode, LE13 0DZ, was announced as the winner on Saturday, March 4.

The People's Postcode Lottery has raised over £1 billion for charities and good causes across the UK. The draw on Saturday was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Education Trust, which supports charities like UNICEF, Save the Children, and Theirworld.

Players of the lottery pay £10 a month, and if their postcode comes up, they can win thousands of pounds in daily, weekly, and monthly draws.

The lottery's ambassador, Judie McCourt, congratulated the winners and wished them well in their celebrations.
