Melbourne Man Follows Instincts and Wins $1.8 Million in Lotto

In an unexpected stroke of luck, a man in his 20s from Melbourne won a share of the Division One prize in the Saturday Lotto draw, earning $1,845,890.33.

Despite never having played the lottery before, he trusted his instincts and purchased his third ticket online.

"My guts were telling me last week that I was going to win something. I don't know why," he said.

After the draw, he checked his ticket and couldn't believe his eyes. The Noble Park resident was still in disbelief and said that no one, including his wife, believed him when he revealed the news.

He added, "I've just been walking around thinking, 'is this really happening?'"
