The ticket was purchased at Jillian’s Sports Pub, turning an ordinary night out into a major payday.

“Mass Cash” drawings happen twice every day, and tickets cost just $1, making it one of the more affordable lottery games in the state.

Sunday was also a busy day for lottery winners across Massachusetts. State officials said at least 221 prizes worth $600 or more were either won or claimed statewide. Boston saw 17 winners, while Springfield and Worcester each had five.

The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of prizes over $600, giving players a look at where the latest winning tickets were sold.

So far, the biggest lottery payout in Massachusetts this year remains a massive $25 million prize from a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” scratch ticket. That jackpot-winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms in Turners Falls, one of Montague’s villages.
