Maryland Woman Wins $50,000 Pick 5 Prize for the Second Time This Year
A Maryland woman is celebrating another $50,000 lottery win after hitting the Pick 5 jackpot for the second time this year.
The Germantown resident regularly plays Pick 3, Pick 4 and Pick 5, sending her grandson to the store every Tuesday to pick up her tickets.
Her latest lucky ticket was purchased at Town Center Sunoco on Germantown Road for the August 23 drawing. It matched the winning Pick 5 numbers and earned her another $50,000 prize.

The woman said she was stunned when she realized she had won again.
“Oh my goodness, I hit the five-digit again,” she recalled.
She immediately called her grandson to share the incredible news.
The winner plans to use part of her prize for home renovations and share some of the money with her grandson, who helps her buy her tickets.
