West Virginia Powerball Player Scores $100,000 Win
A lucky Powerball player in West Virginia won $100,000 in the weekend drawing after purchasing a ticket through the West Virginia Lottery’s iPlay app.
The ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the red Powerball, earning a $50,000 prize. However, the player added the Power Play option, which doubled the winnings to an impressive $100,000.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot continues to grow, reaching an estimated $687 million ahead of Monday night’s drawing. With the jackpot climbing, players have another shot at a life-changing win.
