Lucky Powerball Ticket Worth $2 Million Sold in Anson County

A fortunate person has won $2 million after purchasing a winning Powerball ticket in Anson County.
The winning ticket was bought at the Speedway on East Caswell Street in Wadesboro and was announced as the big prize winner after Saturday night's Powerball drawing.
Along with two other winning tickets purchased in Delaware and Texas, this win marked the largest prize won nationally in the drawing.
The winning ticket was a $3 Power Play ticket that matched all five white balls, making it eligible for the $1 million prize.
However, since it was also a Power Play ticket, the prize was doubled to an impressive $2 million.
