Lucky Groton woman wins big jackpot in scratch off lottery game

A Groton woman won $20,000 playing the CT Lottery. Linda Casimiro won playing 20X Cash 8th Edition.
She purchased the lucky ticket Thursday at the Big Y in Groton.
The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.
There are 74 unclaimed top prizes of $20,000 remaining in 20X Cash 8th Edition, according to CT Lottery.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
