Lucky Cork punter wins €43,000 in Irish lotto Lottery game

One lucky Cork lotto player in Kinsale is €43,000 richer after bagging a pretty considerable five-figure sum at the Irish Lotto draw yesterday.
Smith's Supervalu in Kinsale has been confirmed by the National Lottery to have sold Wednesday's winning stub.
The supermarket took to Facebook to share their delight with the announcement of selling a "winning lotto ticket."
They said: "We are delighted to announce that we sold a winning lotto ticket!
The lucky winner won €43,000. Huge Congratulations from Faye & all the Supervalu Staff."
One punter from Cork matched 5 numbers and a bonus on Wednesday's Irish Lotto draw, scooping a large amount of €43,508. But there was no winner of the €8 million Lotto jackpot.
