A couple from the Lowcountry is celebrating a $300,000 worth windfall after sharing a winning $10 scratch-off ticket.
The winning lottery ticket was purchased at the Publix on Savannah Highway in Johns Island, according to South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
The fiancée, a regular shopper at the grocery store, handed the ticket to her soon-to-be husband, who revealed the substantial win.
Overwhelmed with joy, the couple, now $300,000 richer, intends to allocate part of the prize money towards funding their upcoming wedding.
