Lotto Max lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Alberta, there were two winners of the Lotto Max draw, each taking home $100,000 prize.
Amber and Russel Palmateer, the lottery winners bought their Lotto Max ticket from Flying J at 5329 Govenlock Mountain Rd. in Whitecourt ahead of the October 28 draw.
Russel thought it was a lot less, because when he first saw the zeros he thought it was just $100.
When he checked the lottery ticket again on the app then he realized that it was a big win.
Palmateer's plan to use their windfall towards paying off debt and said winning was a "relief."
