Lotto 6/49 unclaimed tickets: Two winners totalling $11,580,839 are up for claims in Ontario and Western Canada

Ontario lottery players who win prizes above $50,000 are advised to explore potential prize claim alternatives.

Two winning tickets, one sold in Ontario and one sold in Western Canada, are out there to claim the Oct. 6 $11,580,839 million Lotto 6/49 prize.

The Ontario ticket valued at $5,790,419.90 was sold in Ottawa.

There were also two Lotto 6/49 second-prize winning tickets for $107,477.30 each sold in Brampton and Oshawa, Ont., and one winning Encore ticket worth $100,000 sold in Middlesex County.

Ontario lottery players who win prizes above $50,000 are advised to explore potential prize claim alternatives. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 shall continue to be filed by mail.

Lotto 6/49 players in Ontario have won over $13.4 billion in prizes since 1982, including 1,409 jackpot winners and 388 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws. The game costs $3 per play and drawings take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
